One Year Old Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. candied cherries
    12 oz. dates
    8 oz. candied pineapple
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 lb. pecans (halves)
Preparation
    Mix flour, salt and baking powder; sift over fruit.
    Beat eggs. Stir in sugar with beaten eggs, flour over fruit and dry mixture; mix well.
    Pour in pecans and mix well.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    I put mine in an iron frying pan (medium size).
    Put a pan of water in oven so cake won't dry out.
