Shortcake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
2/3 c. milk
1/4 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
Preparation

Sift together the baking powder, flour, salt and sugar.
Cut into shortening.
Add milk and egg.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 400\u00b0 in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
