Fannie'S Nutty Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising flour
    4 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1 lb. candied pineapple, diced
    1 lb. candied cherries, sliced in half
    1 1/4 lb. dates, chopped or diced
    8 c. coarsely chopped pecans
Preparation
    Coat fruits and nuts with the flour; mix well.
    Set aside. Beat eggs and sugar together until smooth.
    Mix fruits and nuts with eggs and sugar.
    Pack with hands into 2 loaf pans.
    Mixture will be very thick.
