Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. Crisco
    2 eggs
    2 c. blackberry jam
    3/4 tsp. each: allspice, cinnamon and cloves
    2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 Tbsp. cocoa
    2 c. flour
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Mix sugar, Crisco, eggs, jam, spices, soda, vanilla and cocoa together.
    Add flour and buttermilk, alternately.
    Add nuts last. Bake at 350\u00b0 in 3 (8-inch) pans or 2 (9-inch) pans.
