German Kuchen - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. dry yeast
1 c. warm water
3 1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. margarine
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 Tbsp. lemon rind
4 eggs
Preparation

Stir yeast into warm water.
Mix in 1 cup flour.
Set in warm place until bubbly (30 minutes).
In a large bowl, mix butter, sugar and flavorings until fluffy.
Beat in eggs, then add yeast mixture; blend in rest of flour.
Pour into a greased 10-inch tube pan.
Let rise until batter is 1/4-inch from top.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
