Rice With Black Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can stewed tomatoes, chopped
    1 (15 oz.) can black beans, rinsed and drained
    2/3 c. water
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1 1/2 c. instant whole grain brown rice (uncooked)
Preparation
    Heat oil in large skillet on medium high heat.
    Add onion and garlic; cook until tender, but not browned.
    Stir in tomatoes, beans, water and oregano.
    Bring to boil.
