Apple Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Pam nonstick cooking spray
1 (20 oz.) can apple pie filling
2 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. oleo, softened
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3 eggs
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. chopped nuts
2 Tbsp. oleo, melted
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Spray rectangular pan (13 x 9 x 2-inch) with Pam.
Mix pie filling and cinnamon; reserve.
Beat flour, granulated sugar, milk, softened margarine, baking powder, salt and eggs in a large bowl on low speed, scraping bowl constantly for 30 seconds.
Beat on medium speed, scraping bowl frequently for 2 minutes.
Pour half of the batter (about 2 cups) into pan. Spoon half of the pie filling mixture (about 1 cup) over batter in pan.
Repeat with remaining batter and pie filling mixture. Sprinkle brown sugar and nuts over pie filling mixture.
Drizzle with melted margarine.
Bake until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean, 45 to 55 minutes.
Serve warm.
Yields 12 to 16 servings.
