Banana Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    3 Tbsp. water
    6 bananas, sliced thick
    peanuts
Preparation
    Cook first four ingredients in double boiler until thick. Serve warm over bananas; sprinkle nuts on top.
    It should be made just before eating.
    It is served at a famous smorgasbord on the Gulf.
