4 Layer Plain Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 C flour
    2 C sugar
    8 Tbsp. shortening
    4 eggs
    1 1/3 C milk
    Vanilla to taste
Preparation
    Cream sugar, shortening and eggs.
    Add flour and milk alternating.
    Mix well and stir in vanilla.
    Bake in 4 round 8-inch cake pans at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
