Hickory Nut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 eggs
1/2 c. margarine
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1 c. nuts, broken up
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. raisins
Preparation

Beat the eggs separately.
Mix the butter and sugar together; add egg yolks, then milk, flour, whites of eggs, cream of tartar and soda and lastly, fruit.
