Dad'S Special Cherry Freezer Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 egg
2 c. sugar
1 large can evaporated milk
1 can sweetened condensed milk
2 tsp. vanilla
1 medium jar maraschino cherries and juice (may use any other fruit desired)
approximately 1/2 gal. whole milk to fill up ice cream container

Preparation

Chop cherries and juice (or other desired fruit) in blender or food processor.
Add egg, sugar, evaporated milk, condensed milk and vanilla to cherries in blender container; blend all together. Pour into freeze container and fill container to \"fill line\" with whole milk.
Cover container tightly with lid.
Process in ice cream freezer with salt and ice until cream is firm.
