Funnel Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg, beaten
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
    2/3 c. milk
    2 tsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    pinch of cinnamon and nutmeg (optional)
Preparation
    You will need a funnel with 3/8-inch opening.
    Heat 2-inches of Crisco in a deep skillet to 375\u00b0.
    Pour batter in a circular design.
    Let brown and turn only once.
    Remove from pan, drain and serve hot with powdered or brown sugar.
    Makes 2 dozen.
