Scallops Au Gratin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. scallops
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/3 c. condensed cream of mushroom soup (undiluted)
    salt, pepper and hot pepper sauce
    2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
    2 Tbsp. fine dry bread crumbs
Preparation
    Cut scallops in small pieces and saute gently, in 1 tablespoon butter for 1 to 2 minutes.
    Stir in soup, season to taste with salt and pepper.
    Add a dash of hot pepper sauce; put in small shells (about 8).
    Mix cheese with crumbs and remaining butter, melted, and sprinkle over top.
    Broil a few inches from heat until lightly browned.
    Makes about 8 servings.
    May be put in casserole and baked.
