Southern Prune Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. cut up cooked prunes
1 c. pecans

Preparation

Sift the first 6 ingredients together.
Add remaining ingredients except prunes and pecans.
Beat until smooth.
Add prunes and pecans.
Bake in a greased 13 x 9-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
