Pieroghi Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box lasagna noodles
    6 to 7 medium potatoes or 1 box instant
    2 small onions or 1 large, chopped fine
    1 1/2 sticks melted margarine or butter
    1 lb. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Cook noodles.
    Place first layer of noodles in a buttered 9 x 13 glass baking casserole.
    Spread potatoes.
    Top with shredded cheese.
    Repeat layers until all ingredients are used.
    Cook onion in melted margarine to tenderize.
    Pour onion-margarine mixture over lasagna layers.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Let cool 10 minutes.
    Before serving, spoon the onion-butter sauce from bottom of pan onto top layers.
