Asparagus Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans green asparagus tips, drained (save juice)
    dash of paprika
    1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    3/4 c. cracker crumbs
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. light cream
    salt and pepper to taste (I use white pepper)
    1 (4 oz.) can mushroom pieces
Preparation
    Melt butter in small skillet.
    Stir in flour; when well blended,
    stir
    in 2 tablespoons asparagus liquid
    to
    make
    a paste.
    Stir in cream; cook and stir
    constantly until mixture thickens.\tAdd salt and pepper.
    Stir
    in\tpaprika,
    shredded cheese
    and
    mushrooms;
    continue
    stirring
    until\tcheese\tis melted.
    Line bottom of 2-quart casserole dish
    with
    half\tof the asparagus.\tCover with half of the sauce,
    then
    the other half of\tthe
    asparagus\tand the rest of
    the
    sauce.
    Spread cracker crumbs over casserole.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 about 15 minutes, until top bubbles.
