Onion-Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 onions, chopped
    2 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. boiling water
    3 potatoes, peeled, cooked and mashed
    1 qt. milk, scalded
    salt and white pepper to taste
Preparation
    Saute onions in butter; stir in flour.
    Add water gradually. Combine potatoes with milk and add to onion mixture.
    Season and puree.
    Reheat gently when ready to serve.
