Hot Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 strips bacon
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 can kidney beans, drained
    1 can green beans, drained
    1 can wax beans, drained
Preparation
    Fry bacon until crisp; add sugar and cornstarch to the bacon drippings; blend well.
    Add salt, pepper and vinegar.
    Heat until boiling and mixture thickens.
    Stir in onion and beans.
    Cover and simmer over low heat 20 to 25 minutes.
    When ready to serve, crumble bacon and add to mixture.
