Strawberry-Rhubarb Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 1/2 c. sliced rhubarb
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 c. sliced strawberries
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 c. whole wheat flour
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. applesauce
    1 egg
    1/4 c. skim milk
Preparation
    Mix rhubarb with soda.
    Mix berries with sugar.
    Let stand 5 minutes, then combine.
    Add cornstarch and 1 tablespoon water. Boil for 1 minute.
    Pour into large pie pan.
    Mix remaining ingredients.
    Spoon batter onto hot fruit and spread to cover. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
