Grape-Nut Custard Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. milk or a little less
    4 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 to 1/2 c. Grape-Nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
    nutmeg to taste
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Scald milk.
    Add Grape-Nuts and set aside.
    Beat eggs slightly.
    Add sugar, salt, nutmeg and vanilla and stir.
    Dot top with butter.
    Bake 1/2 hour.
    Test after it bubbles slightly.
    Tester should be clean after inserted.
