Lemon Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. cornstarch
    dash of salt
    1 c. water
    2 beaten egg yolks
    2 tsp. butter or margarine
    2 tsp. lemon juice
    1/2 tsp. grated lemon peel
Preparation
    Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt in a saucepan.
    Gradually stir in water.
    Cook over low heat, stir constantly until thick and clear.
    Stir small amount of mixture into egg yolks.
    Return to hot mixture and continue stirring and cooking for 1 minute.
    Add the butter, lemon juice and grated lemon peel.
    Blend thoroughly and serve warm.
