Bishop Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    2/3 c. sugar
    3/4 c. cake flour
    2/3 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. anise extract
Preparation
    Separate eggs; beat egg yolks until light and lemon-colored. Add sugar to egg yolks gradually beating it in.
    Add dry ingredients; sift together and add anise flavoring.
    Fold in egg whites beaten until stiff but not dry.
    Turn into a greased shallow pan and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for about 45 minutes or until done.
