Old Fashioned Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium potatoes, diced
    1 large onion, diced
    1/2 c. diced celery
    1 1/4 c. water
    3 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    8 slices bacon, diced
    2 Tbsp. minced parsley
Preparation
    Combine potatoes, onion, celery and water.
    Cover and simmer 45 minutes or until done.
    Put vegetables through a coarse sieve, and return to water in which they were cooked.
    Add milk, salt and pepper; reheat.
    Cook bacon until crisp.
    Just before serving, float parsley and crisp bacon pieces on soup.
    Yields 6 servings.
