My Mama'S Buttermilk Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. butter
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 egg yolks
    2 egg whites (for meringue with 2 Tbsp. sugar)
Preparation
    In double boiler, boil milk, eggs, sugar and butter.
    Thicken with cornstarch.
    Place in a baked pie shell.
    Top with meringue and brown.
