Swedish Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage
    1 medium bell pepper
    1 medium onion
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. turmeric
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. white vinegar
Preparation
    Chop cabbage, bell pepper and onion and mix together.
    Then in separate pan, mix sugar, vinegar, celery seed, salt and turmeric and bring to a boil.
    Let boil for 2 minutes, then pour over cabbage, bell pepper and onion mixture.
    Mix good.
    Let stand overnight in refrigerator before serving.
    Will keep in refrigerator for two weeks.
