Chocolate Toffee Crescent Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (8 oz.) can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
2/3 c. brown sugar
2/3 c. butter or margarine
1 to 1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 (6 oz.) pkg. (1 c.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Spread dough into an ungreased cookie sheet with fingertips.
In a saucepan, combine brown sugar and butter.
Boil one minute.
Pour evenly over dough.
Sprinkle with nuts.
Bake 14 to 18 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
Swirl as they melt with the back of a spoon.
Cool.
Yields 36 to 48 bars.
