Betsy Ross Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    yellow cake
    1 1/2 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. margarine
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 eggs
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Grease and flour 4 (8 x 8-inch) pans.
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
    Cream together margarine, sugar and vanilla.
    Beat in, one at a time the eggs.
    Beat until fluffy.
    Add milk alternately with the flour mixture.
    Spread in pans.
    Bake about 20 minutes.
