Ingredients

2 c. sugar
pinch of salt
3/4 c. flour
6 eggs, separated
4 c. milk
1 Tbsp. vanilla
3 baked pie shells
Preparation

Mix sugar and flour well; add milk.
Bring to a slow boil. Add small amount of mixture to egg yolks; beat well, then pour yolks into rest of flour mixture.
Add coconut and let thicken, then add vanilla.
Remove from heat; pour into pie shells.
