Clam Spaghetti Or Scallop Fettucini - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. olive oil
    1/4 c. minced onion
    1/2 c. minced green pepper or pimento
    1/2 tsp. salt
    14 oz. minced clams (undrained)
    1 lb. spaghetti
    1 small clove minced garlic
    1/4 c. minced parsley
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    1/2 c. tomato juice or white wine
Preparation
    Cook garlic and onion in olive oil until soft.
    Add green pepper/pimento and cook 5 minutes.
    Add clams with juice, parsley, pepper, salt, thyme and juice or wine.
    Simmer uncovered 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Cook and drain spaghetti.
    Add sauce and toss well.
    Makes 6 servings.
