Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. butter
1 c. chopped dates
1 beaten egg
Preparation

Pour in bowl and mix, then pour into iron skillet and stir cooking on low heat until dates are melted or dissolved.
Remove from heat.
Put 2 1/2 cups Rice Krispies in bowl and pour mixture over them with 3/4 cup pecans and mix.
Let cool, then shape into balls and roll in coconut.
