Pasta And Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. margarine
    1 clove garlic, minced
    3/4 lb. medium shrimp, cleaned (raw)
    1 c. half and half
    1 c. pea pods, halved diagonally
    1 red bell pepper, diced
    1/4 c. dry white wine
    1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
    4 oz. Parmesan cheese, shredded
    8 oz. linguine, cooked
Preparation
    Saute garlic in margarine. Add shrimp, half and half, pea pods, red pepper, wine and red pepper flakes. Simmer 3 to 5 minutes, until shrimp are pink. Pour sauce over linguine and toss with 3/4 cup cheese. Serve with remaining cheese. Substitute 1 1/2 cups cooked chicken. Serves 4.
