Angel Nut Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    25 Ritz crackers
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 large container Cool Whip
Preparation
    Beat egg whites stiff.
    Add sugar and baking powder slowly to beaten eggs.
    Crush crackers and add to mixture with nuts and vanilla.
    Pour into well-greased or buttered pie pan and bake at 325\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Cool thoroughly.
    Spread Cool Whip over pie and sprinkle with chopped pecans.
    Recipe can be doubled and baked in 9 x 13-inch pan.
