English Style Mint Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. sugar
    dash of salt
    1/4 c. cider vinegar
    1/4 c. water
    1/2 c. chopped fresh mint leaves
Preparation
    Combine sugar, water and salt in a small saucepan.
    Bring to boil; stir until sugar is dissolved.
    Remove from heat and stir in mint and vinegar.
    Set sauce aside to cool to room temperature before serving.
    Flavor will increase with standing.
    Makes 1/2 cup.
