Browned Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick butter
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. dry rice
1 can beef consomme
1 can water
1 can mushrooms
Preparation

Melt butter; add onion and cook on low heat until onion is transparent.
This may also be microwaved.
Take off heat.
Add beef consomme, water and mushrooms.
Stir.
Add rice.
Mix well. Pour into casserole and cook at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
This can be reheated.
