Banana Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    2 cans evaporated milk
    1 stick butter
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
    vanilla wafers
    5 large bananas
Preparation
    Beat sugar and eggs.
    Add evaporated milk, butter and vanilla. Boil in double boiler until thick.
    In 9 x 13-inch pan, spread vanilla wafers over bottom of pan.
    Slice bananas over wafers. When pudding has thickened and cooled, pour over wafers and bananas and refrigerate.
