Oven Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. stew meat
    1 c. tomatoes
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 diced onion
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    6 small carrots
    3 medium potatoes
    1/2 c. celery, chopped
    3 tsp. tapioca
    1 slice bread, cubed
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Cut carrots in strips; peel and quarter potatoes.
    Combine all ingredients (do not brown meat).
    Put into a 3-quart casserole. Bake, covered in 325\u00b0 oven for 3 1/2 hours.
    Freezes well.
