Pecan Crispies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening (Crisco)
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    2 1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 beaten eggs
    2 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Thoroughly cream shortening, butter and sugar.
    Add eggs. Beat well.
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Add to creamed mixture.
    Add nuts.
    Drop from teaspoon about 2-inches apart onto a greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Makes 5 dozen cookies.
