Pie Crust Pastry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1 c. Crisco
    1 tsp. salt
    8 Tbsp. cold water
Preparation
    Sift together flour and salt.
    Cut in the shortening with a pastry blender until the size of small peas.
    Sprinkle water 1 tablespoon at a time over part of the mixture.
    Gently mix with a fork.
    Push to one side of bowl.
    Sprinkle next tablespoon of water and repeat until all is moistened.
    Gather with fingers and form into a ball (mix will be crumbly).
    Let stand several minutes.
    Divide dough into 4 balls.
    Flatten slightly and roll on lightly floured surface.
    Makes 2 double crust pies.
