Kima From India - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. onion
1 tsp. salt
1 1/3 c. potatoes, cubed
1/4 c. water
1 small can peas
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. turmeric
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
2 medium tomatoes (may use canned)
Minute rice
Preparation
-
In saucepan, cook beef and onion.
Stir in seasonings, potatoes, tomatoes, peas and water.
Cook over low heat for 20 to 25 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.
Should be moist, but not soupy.
Serve on rice.
