Onion Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 medium onions
    5 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    5 c. water
    6 bouillon cubes (beef)
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    croutons (optional)
    grated cheese (optional)
Preparation
    Fry onions in butter over medium heat, covering to retain moisture, until tender.
    Add water, Worcestershire sauce and bouillon cubes.
    Simmer, covered, for approximately 20 minutes.
