Grandma 'Laynes Cherry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
    1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
    1 (15 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
    1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
Preparation
    Combine pineapple, pie filling, nuts and milk in bowl.
    Fold in topping.
    Spread in a 9 x 12-inch glass dish.
    Freeze overnight.
    To serve, thaw for 1/2 hour to make cutting easier. Cut in 2-inch squares.
