Lemon Dessert Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    2 tsp. grated lemon rind
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. water
    1 Tbsp. lite margarine
    dash of nutmeg (if desired)
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except margarine, in blender container.
    Cover and blend at medium-high speed 30 seconds.
    Pour into a saucepan; cook over medium heat, stirring until thickened. Stir in the margarine.
    Add nutmeg, if used.
    Serve warm over plain cakes or desserts.
    Yield:
    4 to 6 servings.
