1 can beets, sliced
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. beet juice
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. vinegar
2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Cook beet juice, vinegar, sugar, salt and cornstarch until thickened.
Add beets and butter.
