Herb Roasted Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 to 3 1/2 lb.) whole chicken
    1 tsp. dried oregano, crushed
    1 tsp. dried basil, crushed
    1 tsp. dried thyme, crushed
    3/4 tsp. salt
    cooking oil or melted butter
Preparation
    Rinse chicken with cold water; pat dry with paper towels.
    In a small bowl, stir together oregano, basil, thyme and salt.
    Use your fingers to loosen the skin from the tail to the neck.
    Rub the herb mixture under the birds skin.
    Brush chicken with oil or butter.
