Chocolate Buttermilk Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 1/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. cocoa
    3 c. sifted cake flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Cream butter.
    Add sugar gradually and beat until fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, then add vanilla.
    Sift dry ingredients together and add to creamed mixture, alternately with buttermilk. Pour batter into 11 x 15-inch pan, which has been greased and floured.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until cake pulls away from sides of pan. Frost with caramel frosting.
