Sour Cream Cinnamon Twists - cooking recipe

1 c. sour cream
2 Tbsp. shortening
1/8 tsp. soda
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 large egg
1 pkg. yeast
3 c. flour
margarine
1/3 c. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Bring sour cream to boil.
Remove from heat and stir in shortening, soda, sugar and salt.
Cool to lukewarm.
Stir in egg and yeast.
Mix in flour.
Knead and cover with damp cloth.
Let stand 5 minutes.
Roll dough 1/4-inch thick.
Spread with margarine, sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
Fold in half, cut in 1-inch strips and twist.
Let rise 1 hour.
Bake 15 minutes at 375\u00b0.
