24-Hour Layered Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 head iceberg lettuce, chopped or torn
1/2 head cauliflower, cut in very small flowerets
1/2 can sliced water chestnuts
1/2 lb. cooked bacon, broken into small pieces
1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
16 oz. jar mayonnaise (reduced-calorie)
1/3 c. sugar
Parmesan cheese
Preparation

In large bowl, layer all but last 3 ingredients.
Repeat layers.
Spread mayonnaise over top and seal to edge of bowl. Sprinkle sugar over mayonnaise.
Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over sugar.
Let chill, covered, for 24 hours.
Toss when ready to serve.
Topping makes dressing.
