Aunt Peg'S Wassail - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. Chablis
    3/4 tsp. whole cloves
    1 qt. water
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    2 1/4 c. sugar
    5 cinnamon sticks
    1/2 tsp. ground ginger
    2 1/2 qt. apple cider
    1 qt. orange juice
    2 1/2 c. lemon juice
Preparation
    Heat as you mix the first 7 ingredients (do not use an aluminum pan).
    Bring to a boil and strain.
    Add the cider and juices.
    Keep heated as you serve.
