Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    3 sticks butter
    3 1/2 c. cake flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 tsp. lemon
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar in bowl and add 1 egg at a time, mixing well.
    Add lemon and vanilla flavoring.
    Mix dry ingredients in separate bowl.
    Alternate, adding buttermilk and dry mixture to creamed butter, egg and sugar mixture.
    Pour into a buttered and floured tube pan.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 1 3/4 hours, checking for doneness with toothpick.
    Start checking at 1 hour.
