Old Fashioned Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. any flavoring desired
    dash of salt
    1 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    flour (see directions)
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar together.
    Beat in eggs.
    Add salt and flavoring.
    Stir in enough flour to make a medium stiff dough. Roll out on floured board.
    Cut with cookie cutter.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven until lightly browned.
